Consumer Information

One of the primary objectives of the CIADA is to educate Colorado’s dealers and provide consumers with the best possible buying experience. There is no substitute for educating yourself as a consumer and purchasing your next vehicle from a dealer that is a member of the CIADA. If you have a dispute concerning an automobile purchase, we have included a link to the State of Colorado’s Auto Industry Division. Remember, if you approach the owner of an independent owned dealership to work out most disputes usually you won’t have to go through the complaint process. Lastly, the Motor Vehicle Dealer Board Meetings are open to the public and are posted on the Department of Revenue Auto Industry’s web site.
